Our Pond Plant Potting Soil /Media is made of “Baked Clay Chips”!

• Will not promote algae growth like top soils, regular potting soils, and clay.
• This Pond Plant potting media does not cloud Garden Pond Water or foul Pond Water in any way.
• Low density so Pond Plant roots can penetrate and Pond Plants can thrive.
• Excellent for all Water Garden Plants including Marginals and Lilies!
• Does not change pH

When using our Pond Plant Media, most starter plants will use around 2lbs and mature plants use about 5lbs, depending on the size of the basket and how full you fill the basket. Keep in mind, pond plant baskets do not need to be filled to the rim with pond plant media. Only the root of the plant needs to be covered, then top dress with a couple inches of decorative gravel.
