Description
LIFEGARD submersible filters are easy to install, use, and maintain. Everything is included with the pond filter; i.e. mechanical filter pad, biological filter pad, and fittings and hose for setup. This pond filter hooks to the intake of any submersible pump. LIFEGARD pond filters can be used as sole filtration for ponds, koi ponds, water gardens, etc or they can be used to increase the filtration capacity. It’s very common for ponds to "out grow" their filtration systems as more fish are added to the pond.
LIFEGARD submersible fish pond filters should be cleaned every 1 to 4 weeks as needed. To optimize performance, clean 1/2 the filter at a time so all the beneficial bacteria colonized inside the filter is not killed off. Microbe Lift PL Gel can be used to instantly colonize the pond filter upon initial use or after each cleaning.
LIFEGARD submersible water garden pond filters are available in three sizes:
- UNO Pond Filter: for ponds up to 1000 gallons or to increase the current filter system capacity
- DUO Pond Filter: for ponds up to 2000 gallons or to increase the current filter system capacity
- TRIO Pond Filter: for ponds up to 3000 gallons or to increase the current filter system capacity
