What do I look for in a filter?

Thanks for the advise concerning floating alge in my pond. I checked my ph and it is okay, so I decided to go for a larger filter. I looked at you tube but couldn’t make out what type of filter you had installed that kept the water so clear. My pond is 2000 gallons so what do I look for in a filter.
