Indoor pond tips
Question:
I’m planning on moving my outdoor fish indoor for the winter. I am going to use the outdoor pond water in a preformed pond liner. What kind of rocks/pea gravel should I use indoors if any? Should I put some rocks from the outdoor pond indoors? Thanks.
Answer:
Moving pond fish indoors and keeping them healthy all winter poses a bit of a challenge! The water MUST be adequately filtered to keep the fish healthy!!
You do not need to move rocks inside, but a pond filtration system is a must. Keep feeding of the pond fish to a minimum and add a good beneficial bacteria product =”https://www.pondmarket.com/store/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&product_id=631″>Test the water weekly for ammonia and nitrites!
